We are thrilled to announce the release of The Flowerpot Men's long-awaited album, featuring a collection of their tracks from 1984 to 1987. The album, set to be released on April 14th, 2023, is a celebration of the unique and innovative sound that the English electronic music duo was known for.

Consisting of electronic musician Ben Watkins and cellist Adam Peters, The Flowerpot Men were famous for their powerful live performances and their groundbreaking approach to music, combining electronic sounds with acoustic instruments like the tape recorder, cello, and acoustic guitar.

The duo rose to fame in the 1980s, performing with notable acts such as Dead or Alive, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and The Psychedelic Furs. Their EPs, including "Jo's So Mean to Josephine," "Walk on Gilded Splinters," Featuring the legendry Dr John "Alligator Bait," and "The Janice Long Sessions," showcased their innovative approach to electronic music.

The album features the group's most well-known song, "Beat City," which was featured in the 1986 film Ferris Bueller's Day Off and was recently re-released in November 2022 to coincide with its inclusion in the hit Disney+ series "The Bear." After the dissolution of The Flowerpot Men, Ben Watkins went on to form the highly acclaimed and multifaceted project Juno Reactor, while Adam Peters pursued a successful career as a composer in Los Angeles.
